I literally feel like death because all I ate was a salad, yogurt, and some crackers. I was told today "why are you dieting? You look fine" and I responded with "Do you have love handles?" and she said "no" and I said "then you'll never understand".
I want to be comfortable with my body and I want to be able to wear whatever I want to without feeling self conscious about myself and how I look. I think thats a normal issue with anyone.
But back to DIEting. I feel hungry 95% of the time and the other 5% I'm thinking about what to make later that'll be healthy and that'll make me full. STRUGGLE TO THE MAXXXX!
On the other hand it can be very fun because its a new lifestyle! I love going on Pintrest and finding a new lunch idea or snack idea that's delicious and easy. So, I think it'll just be one of those things that I'll just have to get used to because if I want a nice body, I'll have to struggle.. A LOT.
Another issue with trying to have a better body is exercise UGH NO PLZ NO NO.
But that's not about dieting and honestly I'm to hungry to write about exercising.

What is your measure? The important thing here is that you need to adjust what you are measuring yourself against. Are you looking a pictures in magazines and allowing photographers tell you what is "pretty?" Your measure should be complete and total acceptance of "yourself" love handles and all! Be comfortable looking in the mirror and "liking" what you see. Everyone should be healthy, but not to the point of starvation. Love yourself, because that is the only measurement you will ever need.
ReplyDeleteI defiantly need to work on loving my body because sometimes I look at it and tekk myself its not bad. I love the saying "love yourself, because that is the only measurement you will ever need". You are very right, thank you Ms. McGee :)
DeleteI agree, don't let society tell you what beauty should look like. If you exercise to be healthy and eat to be healthy and live in moderation (oh how I love my potatos) then that is what is important. Are you happy with you?
ReplyDeleteI know, I try not to compare myself to the girls on th tv and such but its hard. I do like feeling healthier though!! :) and im very happy with me.
Deletepreach girl!!
ReplyDeletei know exactly how you feel.
ReplyDeleteI'm praying for you. I don't get how people do diets. I just love food way too much. I think people just have silly misconceptions about what it means to be healthy. For me, a healthy diet is defined by one word: Moderation.
ReplyDeleteThat's literally all there is to it. Well, that and exercise.
